Ingredients
1 ripe banana
½ cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)
1 cup rolled oats
Optional Add-Ins (choose any):
1 tsp cinnamon or vanilla extract
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1 tbsp dark chocolate chips
Chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts)
Seeds (chia, flax)
Dried fruit (cranberries, raisins)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
Add the cottage cheese and mix well until fully combined.
Stir in the rolled oats until the mixture forms a thick dough.
If using optional add-ins, gently fold them in at this stage.
Scoop spoonfuls of dough (about 2 tablespoons each) onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon if desired.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden and slightly firm on top.
Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness.
Texture will be soft and chewy, not crispy.
Can be made ahead and frozen; reheat in the microwave for 10 seconds.
Suitable for toddlers and kids with no added sugar.
Use certified gluten-free oats if needed.
