Ingredients
1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup diced fresh ripe strawberries
200g (about 7 oz) good-quality dark chocolate
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother melted chocolate)
Instructions
Line a baking tray with parchment paper or use silicone molds.
In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and vanilla until smooth.
Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
Spoon small dollops of the mixture onto the tray or into molds.
Freeze for at least 1–2 hours, until firm.
Melt chocolate (with coconut oil if desired) in a microwave or over a double boiler.
Dip the frozen yogurt bites in the melted chocolate to coat, then place back on the tray.
Freeze again for about 20 minutes, until chocolate is set.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
– Use full-fat yogurt to prevent icy texture.
– Work quickly when dipping — the yogurt melts fast.
– You can skip the honey if your strawberries are very sweet.
– Silicone molds make shaping and removing bites easier.
